Kelowna, B.C. (CP) - A woman who says she lost an hour of her life after an encounter with aliens has started a support group for those who have experienced similar extraterrestrial abductions. Corina Sables said she was compelled to start the group after she and a friend had a close encounter while star-gazing last year.
She said when her friend first pointed out the oddity, "I thought she was making a joke.
"Then the next thing she said was 'Well, wait a minute. It's changing' This thing is turning into a bright, neon - coloured and oval-shaped thing.'
"And at that point, I turned on the lights ahead of us just to check for animals. I thought she was still joking at this point. That's when we saw five sets of eyes."
Sables said in the days after the incident, she was terrified.
